"NBA 2K17" Simulates the 2017 NBA Finals

04 Juin 2017

LeBron James and the Cavaliers will head into Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Warriors as seven point underdogs according to OddsShark.com.

They are desperate to avenge last year's Finals loss where their bid to repeat as champions fell apart in stunning fashion when they squandered a 3-1 series lead and lost the decisive seventh game on their home court.

The Warriors have added Kevin Durant to their team, and he rewarded them by having a sensational year.

It's not because I'm picking Golden State to win this series that starts Thursday night. The Cavaliers face the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday in Oakland.

- The Warriors reached the NBA Finals by becoming the first team to ever go 12-0 through the first three rounds of the playoffs.

Not that anyone expected any different.

On ESPN, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant (Golden State Warriors) will meet LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love (Cleveland Cavaliers) on both linear pay-TV and the streaming platform, ESPN Play. He was outstanding, the Warriors were outstanding, he and Durant combined to frighten opponents nearly nightly. "I get a great view of the game", said Dan Stintsman of Grafton.

"I was living those odds", he said.

This matchup has seemed ordained since James walked off the court in Oakland last June, having delivered his native northeast OH its first major team championship since 1964. He was able to take fewer shots and play much more efficiently previous year, averaging 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists on 49.4 percent shooting in the 2016 finals. "But I mean I look at it as, if this is to shed a light and continuing to keep the conversation going on my behalf then I'm OK with it", James said. "I got a promotion when I got to the 30s".

I don't know what I would have done if I was faced with Kevin Durant's decision.

For the Warriors, one of the best runs of winning in National Basketball Association history has commenced over the last three seasons. "But at the end of the day winning a championship is winning a championship".

"It's been a long journey, some ups and downs but it's well worth it once you get here in the Finals", Williams said. In the East, it hasn't worked because LeBron James is one of the game's all-time greats and is a dominant force.

And this time, I have a feeling very different than I had a year ago.

"It's good", Iguodala said Sunday, when asked how he's now feeling. There have been 17 five-game series (24.4%), 25 six-gamers (35.7%) and 20 series that went to Game 7 (28.6%). He'll be challenged like he's never been before against Golden State.

"We saw it with Luke (Walton) past year, too". The Golden State Warriors are shooting 38.7 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free throw line.

"I'm in section 124, it's right behind the visitors bench".

"How do I feel about my club going into the Finals?".

Still, Thompson would like nothing more than to see some shots fall.

He got an MRI exam on his left knee after the Warriors won Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against the San Antonio Spurs, and he sat out of Game 2.

Steve Kerr missed the first 43 games of the Warriors' 2015-16 season, and the team went 39-4. He scored 42 in an important Game 4 victory over the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals and can stand up to any of Golden State's perimeter players from a scoring and finishing standpoint.

This series also features 11 players who have been named All-Stars in their careers, including seven this year. The NBA hasn't had a Finals with that many current All-Stars or all-time All-Stars since the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers played for the championship in 1983.
