Cosby has pleaded not guilty to the felony charge, and has claimed that in 2004, he and Constand had a consensual sexual encounter. They began deliberating Monday evening, continued all day Tuesday and resumed Wednesday morning.
Constand, 44, who spent seven hours on the stand last week, was in the gallery as the jury scrutinized her story.
Ms Constand testified she was mistaken, and prosecutors called a psychologist who testified that victims of sexual violence sometimes have trouble remembering details and engage in seemingly irrational behaviour in response to the trauma.
"A 30-year consecutive sentence would be a life sentence", she said.
The maximum penalty for each charge is 10 years in jail and a $25,000 fine.
Cosby's lawyers argued that he and the woman, Andrea Constand, were lovers and that the encounter was consensual.
Pulliam added that Cosby has still been in "good spirits" during her interactions with him.
"Put them down, they're your friends".
She became incapacitated and felt "frozen" and told him so, she testified.
She testified last week that he gave her a substance that incapacitated her and then he sexually assaulted her.
Mr. Cosby said Ms. Constand often wasn't thinking clearly and he believed she had a learning disability or Attention Deficit Disorder. "How would I want to be treated?" she asked.
Cosby lowered and shook his head in the courtroom as she spoke.
Cosby is charged with drugging and molesting Constand in 2004.
She said Cosby gave her three pills and wine before touching her breasts, putting his fingers in her vagina and putting her hand on his erect penis after she sought his advice about moving to Canada and switching careers. They cast Cosby as an unfaithful husband - but not a criminal. A judge recently denied Cosby's motion to dismiss the case and a trial has been scheduled for June 2018. In many ways, Cosby is a far more luminous public figure than O.J. Simpson; he was a national treasure, a beloved icon, and a revered pioneer for Black Americans. He further said that, in her first interview, she claimed to have never been alone with his client before the alleged attack, but later contradicted that statement saying that she spent time alone at his home before the alleged assault at a CT casino resort.
She said about the sexual assault allegations, "It's nothing that I take lightly or that I condone in any way shape or form but he's still a person. It wasn't hostile. She didn't push me away, she said stop and I stopped". "It was a lot of confusion putting a lot of dates together". The actress' conversation on Today regarding the Bill Cosby rape trial can be viewed below. Cosby replied: "Because they might help take some of the stress and tension away".
Prosecutors have portrayed Cosby as a serial predator. Constand told police she was semi-conscious as he touched her breast and genitals.
Constand initially settled the case with a civil suit in 2006, but it was re-opened in 2015 when new evidence apparently came to light.
The 79-year-old former comedian has been accused of sexually assaulting more than 40 women over the years.
The jury asked to review more than a dozen excerpts from a deposition the TV star gave as part of a lawsuit filed against him by the accuser. The defense rested June 9 after calling 12 witnesses over 5 days.
Bill Cosby has arrived at the courthouse for the second day of jury deliberations in his sexual assault trial.
