LeBron James torches Trump, while Kaepernick remains Kryptonite

At their media days Monday, Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal said Mr. Trump is "a clown" and Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan called the president a "so-called leader".

James chided Trump, saying he is trying to divide people and doesn't understand the power of the presidency. "I've talked to him throughout the summer". LeBron thinks that the addition of Wade will bring more Championship DNA and more playmaking to the team.

President Trump also commented on NFL players kneeling during the national anthem and stated that NFL owners should fire players who kneel.

"We know this is the greatest country in the world, this is the land of the free", James said in a statement.

"I just felt it was time for me, turning 36, that I want to be competing for a championship", the 12-time NBA All-Star told K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune of his buyout.

"That's what makes me more sick than anything", he said. "I got no advice for him or any other people on any other team", LeBron said with a smile.

In the meantime, Lue will have plenty of talent from which to choose, with some quality players likely not to see much action.

"For me as a professional athlete in this state, and even though this state voted for Trump, that doesn't stop me from inspiring the people of the state and inspiring the youth", James said.

James cited the recent free-agent additions of Derrick Rose and Jeff Green as well as the trade of Kyrie Irving for Isaiah Thomas and Jae Crowder as proof new general manager Koby Altman is committed to winning titles. "We're happy now that we can again clearly define the direction we're going". "Everybody that's here has one common goal and that's to win the championship".

Jimmy Butler cleared out his locker to join a rising Minnesota Timberwolves as a role player.

"I'm 28, people act like I'm 38". I don't have time to give advice to other guys.

There has been speculation that James was urging his good friend Wade to come to Cleveland to help strengthen their chances at combatting the Golden State Warriors.

In his opening statement to the assembled reporters, James said he knew the questions about his war of words with Trump were coming and was prepared to speak his mind.
