Just like the other flagship Xiaomi smartphones, there is no MicroSD card slot on Mi MIX 2 for storage expansion. The smartphone is the first bezel-less device of the company and is successor to the last year's launched Mi Mix. Getting back to today's launch of the Mi Mix 2, the event will be live streamed on the Xiaomi site as well as on their YouTube channel.

However, thanks to the bezeless display - at least on three sides - the Mi device has 81% of its body covered by the screen, while the OnePlus 5 has only 73.3% of the body covered by the display.

Specifications wise, the phone is pretty well rounded for a flagship phone, but it does come with its flaws.

The MI Mix 2 will be lighter, smaller, and thinner than its predecessor.

Xiaomi has launched the 128GB variant of Mi MIX 2 in India. You need to flip the phone upside down to take a selfie and adjust similarly to make a video call. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 on the top. It comes with a ceramic body and is blended on to all the four edges. As before, in the Mi Mix, Xiaomi added the ultrasonic earpiece also but this time they have sticked to the same old earpiece above the display. This phone not just offers attractive design but also has high-end specifications. This display has good specifications on paper and is equally good in real usage. It is costlier than its last year's flagship Mi 5 which was launched at Rs 24,999.
