22 Novembre 2017

Aggarwal revealed that OnePlus will discontinue the OnePlus 5 after its stock is depleted, focusing exclusively on the new OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus 5T top features OnePlus 5T has a 6.01-inch full-HD+ (1080x1920 pixels) AMOLED screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 401ppi pixel density, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The OnePlus 5T was just announced this past Thursday, aptly bringing the flagship killer into the age of 2017 design. The biggest change after the upgrade being the phone sporting thin-bezels which is keeping in line with the latest trends of premium brands. Established players like Samsung and LG already follow a similar strategy. It was actually five months ago, which still is still pretty recent. The phone retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, and offers dual-SIM with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi. But for those of you who plan on waiting for the OnePlus 6T next year so as not to be caught off guard, you might be disappointed to learn that OnePlus hasn't even decided if there's going to be a "T" model in 2018. But this feature will not be of much help if you can not make out the fine changes which are actually not much noticeable.

OnePlus 5T does not have a home button, and a circular fingerprint scanner is at the back. The same can be expected for the OnePlus 5. Speaking of which, OnePlus has also replaced the 20MP telephoto sensor with a regular sensor, featuring the same f/1.7 aperture as the 16MP sensor. On the front, there's a 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor, same as seen in the company's OnePlus 5 smartphone.

Priced at $499 for the base model, the OnePlus 5T is the new Google Nexus 6P. In an AMA on the OnePlus forums, OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T won't get Project Treble support. Both the smartphones come with same price tag of Rs 32,999 for the 6GB RAM variant and Rs 37,999 for the 8GB RAM variant. 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage.

The OnePlus 5T won't work on Verizon and Sprint like its predecessors.

The company launches a flagship product once a year, and later, another variant of the handset is launched with better specifications.
