The main event of Fastlane was a roller-coaster ride, where it seemed at times that anyone could win.
John Cena, also known as "The Champ" was seen on WWE Fastlane 2018 on Sunday. I can imagine this match being in the running to steal the show, as Rusev should inspire Nakamura to pull out a solid one.
The Six-Pack Challenge was a pretty fun spotfest of a match: Ziggler's Fame-ass-er reversal on an AA was fun to watch, while more storylines unfolded between Zayn and Owens and McMahon, Cena and the rest.
The defending champion pinned Owens with his Phenomenal Forearm finisher to conclude an excellent bout. "WrestleMania 34" will be broadcast live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, April 8, with the pre-show beginning at 4:30 p.m. EST. This storyline, with Owens and Zayn, is lasting forevvvver. Just the fact that they would do this match is mind-blowing for some.
Holding the title would mean a little more freedom and respect in his pitches and he is in dire need of one in order to enlighten the people that he isn't at all bad both on the mic and in the ring. And yet, now it is in stone. Then we can stop fronting like this John Cena vs. Undertaker match isn't going to happen.
With WrestleMania - the WWE's biggest event of the year - less than a month away, there are still many questions remaining as to how the event's card will end up looking like.
Then, when all hope is lost, he could truly have his underdog achievement moment by obtaining whatever match WWE plans on him competing in-ideally, against The Undertaker, who could match Cena's lust to regain some spotlight and undo his loss past year to Roman Reigns.
SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair vs.
Also at Fastlane, Charlotte Flair successfully defended her Smackdown Women's Championship against Ruby Riott in a highly-competitive match.
They have since been involved in a heated rivalry with the minority owner of WWE.
Fast forward to the 20th of February edition of Smackdown Live; The New Day went head to head against former #1 contenders Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable (who were coming off a disappointing Royal Rumble Tag Team Championship match) to determine who would go to Fastlane to face off against the twins.
The best way to do that, rather than have Roode lost and this use his rematch clause, would be to have Jinder Mahal assault, Orton. Orton connected an RKO and it was goodbye for Roode. It seems like we'll be getting that as a triple-threat at WrestleMania. Heck, turn both guys heel and let them add some freshness to the tag title scene.
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship match: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c) vs.
WHAT IT IS: It's the Usos vs New Day...again.
Carmella and Natalya beat Becky Lynch and Naomi after Carmella hit a superkick to a distracted Becky Lynch. He's the definitive loser and the person who should go to the back of the line even before the others who failed to win.
