This year's event, labeled "Bearing Witness: A Holocaust Survivor on Schindler's List", features Halina Silber.

The collection, some of which is pictured here, include a shirt that a former German labour camp inmate fashioned from parachute cloth and a blue-striped coat which a survivor of the Dachau concentration camp kept at home until his death.

The transition was filled with struggles for her parents, but they succeeded in building good lives.

"And then (I will) use illustrations, actually take a paragraph or two from each of those stories that reflect the theme", he told

"It's beyond being Jewish, it's truly an interfaith program", he said.
