Bethesda officially announces Rage 2

14 Mai 2018

The new version is quite a surprise.

Bethesda has been teasing a reveal since the Walmart Canada leak, even responding to it with with a tweet from the official Rage Twitter account. Before you do that, though, check out the announcement trailer for RAGE 2!

Bethesda did promise that we will get a worldwide gameplay reveal tomorrow at the end of the trailer, so we'll update the article once that drops.

Furthermore, Rage 2 could be out in 2018 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

It is not unusual to see retailers leak unannounced video games but a leak of this scale is uncommon. We'd like to see Rage 2 try this for itself.

The sequel to the 2011 released Rage was first revealed on Walmart Canada's website a few weeks ago.

RAGE was a first person open world shooter by Bethesda Softworks. No doubt, more concrete info on the game will also be outed at E3 in June. Titled Rage: Mutant Bash TV was released in November 2010.

We're not sure what else the Fallout publisher has up its sleeve, but it has been a while since a brand new Elder Scrolls game... This interpretation seems to be corroborated by the second picture Bethesda posted featuring the same pink tint - this time displaying a rocket with 5-14 printed on its side. In a sense there's a very real possibility RAGE 2 could mirror Borderlands in terms of play modes. While the original game tended to be more serious in nature, the follow-up, judging from the trailer, is set to be more tongue in cheek. As such, Bethesda began to tease a 14 May reveal that hasn't taken place just yet.
