Nokia's penta-lens smartphone shows up once again in leaked image

It is to be noted here that the above information is based on the leaks and the formal design of the Nokia 9 could come with some changes. It will be the third Nokia smartphone to come with a notch. Along with five cameras on the rear of this device, we can also spot dual-tone LED flash and also a laser autofocus sensor.

As Huawei has shown us with their (triple-camera) P20 Pro, more is definitely better: One sensor is monochrome and the other has a telephoto lens, allowing it to capture more detail than a standard, single camera.

This latest leak comes from Nokia Power User, with the website spotting images of the device on IT Home recently. Well, the current owners of Nokia believe that two camera setups ain't no cool; what's cool is five cameras! But since the original source has deleted the image, we can think that the leaked image and speculations might resemble the real design. This company has been making camera equipment for new Nokia phones since 2017.

We'll be hones from the get-go: we don't know how to react to this.

Note that the render of the Nokia X7 is specially made so that it is unclear is the smartphone a unibrow or not.

Nokia has stated teasing a new smartphone launch on its Taiwanese Facebook page.

If we had to venture an educated guess, their should be one standard RGB lens, then a monochrome one, like the Nokia 8 featured. It is expected to feature a 6.01-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, an octa core Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage and a 3,900mAh battery. The handset will likely be available in several colors. Now rumors suggest that it will launch sometime later this year or early next year. An earlier leaked image of this "five" sensor camera for the Nokia 9 looked very different.
