The new iPhones hit the stage last night and, of course, Apple has a bunch of promotional material to help hype them up.

Both use a new method for taking pictures called "Smart HDR", which essentially takes a bunch of pictures when you press that shutter button and then stitches them into one finished image.

Apple's event comes with the global smartphone market at near-peak saturation, and without a major catalyst for sales ahead of a likely rollout of 5G, or fifth generation, wireless networks, expected in 2019. Even though its thickness got reduced and it offers more performance and features, the new watch is said to maintain the same battery life longevity as its predecessors.
