Kelly: When and How to Watch 'CBS News: The Gayle King Interview'

10 Mars 2019

Following Kelly's interview with King on CBS on Wednesday, the Savage family held a press conference in which they strongly denied ever asking for money from the singer.

At one stage Clary broke down in tears, alleging her own father had encouraged her to lie about her age and to make sexual videos with Kelly in case they needed to blackmail him later, "which is exactly what they're doing".

Last year, another woman, Faith Rogers, alleged that Kelly gave her the incurable sexually transmitted disease.

"She's not telling the truth", R. Kelly said.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel couldn't get enough of the R. Kelly bombshells.

Right now DPD say they still need to speak to an alleged sexual assault victim.

The parents of the two women say their daughters have been brainwashed by 52-year-old Kelly. Cook County Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Sophia Ansari told AP that Kelly will remain locked up until he pays over $160,000 in back child support.

As we reported, the musician was booked on Wednesday at Cook County jail due to failure to pay his ex-wife Drea Kelly over $161K in child support.

During an interview with Gayle King on CBS News, the star said he wasn't able to come up with the $100,000 needed to secure his $1,000,000 bail because the money in his account hadn't transferred yet. The series interviewed more than 50 people ranging from victims of Kelly's abuse, his ex-wife (who echoed the experiences of some of his teenage victims), as well as his personal staff, family members, and other individuals within his inner circle. He said he never sexually abused women or controlled their lives.

"We have the ticket request and the ticket records that show that at no point has Mr. Kelly ever met [Joycelyn's father] Timothy Savage". 'I have been assassinated'. "I went by myself for the first time to a Bank of America". This is not me!' "This is not me!" he said tearfully looking at the camera. Why would I hold all these women!

R. Kelly appears in court for aggravated sexual abuse charges. Those charges centred on a graphic video that prosecutors said showed him having sex with a girl as young as 13.

He also denied abusing Andrea while they were married. Kelly was acquitted six years later.

Kelly acknowledged in the interview that he had done "lots of things wrong" when it comes to women, but he said he had apologized. "Both our parents are basically out here to try and get money and scam because they didn't agree on what happened with music or whatever it could be and they are just very upset".

The statement was issued a day after Kelly's explosive interview with Gayle King where he suggested that the parents of both Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage were using their daughters to get money out of him. "So to defend himself against allegations of weird and illegal and inappropriate sexual relationships, to prove he's a normal and respectful guy, R. Kelly brought in both of his live-in girlfriends to support him".
